Mikhail Sukharev, PhD is a contemporary representative of the traditional Moscow school of fine art. The heir of the classical Russian art education. Member of Moscow Union of Artists and a univ Fine Art professor. He graduated from Art and graphic faculty of the Moscow state Pedagogical University and post-graduate studies at the Department of drawing. He also graduated from the I. E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of the Russian Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg. Associate Professor of the Department of iconography and associate Professor of drawing. Genres: landscape, still life, portrait, book illustration, multi-figure composition. Regular participant of Moscow, Russian national and international art exhibitions. Paintings and graphic works are part of the collections of the Russian Academy of Arts, The Museum of history of Moscow, Tarus art gallery, and numerous private collectors in Russia, Germany, Italy, and France.
